I regret that, due to sweeping changes in tax collection, we must shutter our SWEET Shopping Group temporarily. New origin taxes and the requirement we file in each and every town every customer orders from is an impossibility for us and other small online retailers who lack dedicated fulltime tax departments. We will reform our business model until and unless current legal challenges to these new laws are unsuccessful. We’ve been honored to promote women and community artisan entrepreneurs in over twenty countries since 2017, and will be back with a new business model in a jiffy!
